Most people are surprised by how comfortable acupuncture feels. The needles are extremely thin—much thinner than those used for injections. Many patients barely notice them, and others find treatments deeply relaxing.
We use different acupuncture needles for kids than adults. Our pediatric needles are less than half a millimeter and gently affixed with medical tape. Most kids don’t even notice!

Yes. Acupuncture is considered safe during pregnancy when performed by a licensed practitioner with specialized training in pregnancy care.

This depends on your condition, health history, and goals. Acute concerns may improve in just a few visits, while chronic conditions often benefit from a series of treatments.

Loose, comfortable clothing is ideal. We frequently treat points on the arms, lower legs, abdomen, back, and head.

We do not accept insurance at this time. Most insurance companies in the state of Minnesota have closed their networks to acupuncturists. Upon request, we can provide a Super Bill to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please call your insurance company directly to inquire about out of network coverage.

Dr. Fleming’s youngest patient was 3-days-old when she worked within the NICU of a children’s hospital. We tailor the treatment to the age and needs of each person, including our tiniest patients.

We love treating the whole family! But not at the same time. For safety reasons, all children must be accompanied by an adult who is not receiving treatment. And all adults receiving treatment are asked to have an additional caregiver watch their child while needles are in place.
