Dr. Fleming has been in practice as an acupuncturist and herbalist since 2013. She was the first acupuncturist in the state of Minnesota to hold both a doctoral degree and board certification in women’s health acupuncture.

Throughout her career, Dr. Fleming has had the privilege of practicing alongside leading medical teams and academic institutions across the country. She was a part of the Integrative Medicine department of Mayo Clinic, where she partnered with the Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility department to promote acupuncture to patients undergoing IVF. At Seattle Children’s Hospital, she worked within the Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology department, caring for children across both inpatient and outpatient settings, including the NICU, postoperative and rehabilitation units. Dr. Fleming also practiced at Minnesota Women’s Care, a premier OB/GYN and Pelvic Specialty Care center, where she partnered with midwives, physicians, nurses, chiropractors and physical therapists to provide integrated, patient-centered care.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Fleming serves as an instructor at both Northwestern Health Sciences University and Colorado Chinese Medicine University, where she teaches courses in women’s health, reproductive and urinary health. She is also a guest lecturer for the midwifery program at Bethel University in St. Paul. Her work in education reflects a commitment to advancing the field and preparing the next generation of acupuncturists and herbalists.

Dr. Fleming is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and maintains national board certification in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine as recognized by the NCBAHM. She is one of 11 fellows in Minnesota to have achieved board certification from the Acupuncture Board of Reproductive Medicine.
